International representatives
Big League, Senior Softball to play
World Series games at Delaware venue

The 2014 Little League World Series for Big League and Senior Softball will be played Sunday through Saturday, August 3rd-9th, just south of the Wesley College campus, at the Lower Sussex Little League Complex in Roxana, Delaware.

Big League players are 14-18-year-olds. Senior Softball consists of 13-16-year-olds.

ESPN2 and ESPN-U will broadcast the semi-finals and final games on Friday and Saturday.

Last year, South Bend, Indiana triumphed over Lombardia, Milano (Italy) for the Senior Softball title, while the Sussex County (Delaware) hosts defeated Latin America for the Big League World Series championship.

The Little League Senior Softball World Series has been played in Roxana since 2004, but the Big League Softball World Series is new to the area. It selected Delaware as a venue for the first time last year.

Teams and umpires will be fielded from all over the world. Teams scheduled to play include Asia Pacific, Canada, Europe/Africa, and Latin America, as well as USA's Southeast, Southwest, West and a host Delaware team.
