3,000 miles traveled for
softball/ baseball games
PICTURED HERE: Randy and Liz Dibb of La Mesa, CA, at today's Wesley College baseball doubleheader. They flew into what must of felt to them to be an arctic Norfolk, VA, last Thursday from warm and sunny San Diego for the now canceled (due to ice) Beach Blast softball tournament, where the Wesley Wolverines were scheduled to play today. Then, they trekked north to Dover, DE, to visit their softball daughter Wesley freshman #21 C/3B Whitney Dibb (La Mesa, CA) just in time to catch Wesley's hardball home games.
PICTURED HERE: Three Wesley softball players at today's Wesley Wolverines vs. Oswego State Lakers baseball games on Bob Reed Field, Dover, DE. Wesley split the doubleheader. The softball gals are, left-to-right, the Carpenter Hall freshmen #21 C/3B Whitney Dibb (La Mesa, CA), #19 OF Casey Beall (Severn, MD), and #9 P/OF Lily Engel (Dover, DE).
