Wolverines practice with
Special Olympics softball
After the Sunday doubleheader, the Wesley Wolverines took to DuPont Field to join the practice session of Kent County (DE) Special Olympics softball players.
The Wolverines worked out with one group on the basics of throwing and catching, while they also batted -- without holding back, by the way -- against another team of Special Olympic fielders who quickly demonstrated they were not new to the game and more than skillful playing it!
