MYRTLE BEACH SCHEDULE

Myrtle Beach bound
10 games over six days at
Fastpitch Dreams Classic

The Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic, Myrtle Beach, SC, March 9 – 14, holds for our Wesley Wolverines an interesting mix of softball opponents from colleges and universities as distant as Elsah, Illinois to the west and Buffalo, NY, to the north.

Players & coaches given tournament
embroidered training nylon pullover
There are 10 teams altogether that will take on the Wolverines. Three are from Pennsylvania campuses. Three are traveling from New York. Others packed their bags in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Illinois. An eclectic group of mascots include kangaroos, mavericks and highlanders, as well as more traditional lions, wildcats and panthers.

The weather forcast from a date this far out promises (with fingers crossed) mostly sunny, some clouds, some light rain for our games.

All Wolverine games will be played at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex, 10373 Highway 90, Little River, SC (will not pick up on GPS), on fields numbered #1-#6 (see earlier blog post headlined: “New sports complex”) EXCEPT FOR THE SINGLE 1:30 PM, Wednesday, March 12, Penn State Altoona game, which will be held at the Central Park Fields, 1400 Outrigger Road, North Myrtle Beach, SC.
