Wesley opponents ranked among
top division III national softball teams
The Salisbury Sea Gulls and the Christopher Newport Captains are ranked third and seventeenth respectively in the Division III NATIONAL ratings. Click here for the nationwide rankings.
It is no surprise for these two talented teams who always play a demanding schedule.
Salisbury finished the 2013 season with a 42-4 record, as one of the final three teams playing in the NCAA Division III World Series. Christopher Newport University (CNU) posted a 37-11 record last year and has reached the NCAA Tournament in seven straight seasons.
The Wesley Wolverines will take on each club this April for the final four games of the regular season.
As the schedule winds down this spring, the #3 Sea Gulls will travel to Dover's DuPont Field for a 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM doubleheader versus the Wolverines on Wednesday, April 9.
Then that same week, our Wesley team will head south to #17 CNU's Captains Park for the final currently scheduled doubleheader at 1:00 & 3:00 PM Saturday, April 12.
