GameChanger hopes to deliver
game day pay-by-play action online
The best way to follow Wesley Wolverines action is to be in the stands at the games. That, of course, is not always possible with travel distances, working schedules, and other commitments.
There are websites that offer the next best thing to being there – but none are perfect.

GameChanger is a website, also a mobile app (Apple iOS 6.0 or greater only), that is hoping to make a breakthrough. It aims to provide statistics and score keeping of every game for college softball fans. It is dependent, however, on live voluntary feeds from the team playing the game.
The GameChanger software is provided for free to college teams to encourage a local scorekeeper to collect the play-by-play data on game day for the GameChanger website.
For fans, a minimum of the game's content is free online and accessible to all, but the really key stats – live stream of plays, box scores, season stats, recap stories, and in-game alerts – require a monthly or yearly subscription to GameChanger.
When it works, GameChanger delivers a pleasing full color graphic display of all the game's play-by-play action plus charts summarizing the stats at the game's completion. It, again, is reliant on the team at the game keeping current stats on the GameChanger software and having a hotspot or other means of transmitting the data.
It should be noted that variations on the GameChanger summarized game and player data – not the play-by-play action -- can be found at the Wesley Wolverines homepage under the “Statistics” link as well as on the CAC softball homepage under the “Team stats”, “Indiv. Leaders” and “Player stats” links. Also, comparing stats between GameChanger and the Wesley/ CAC data shows a slight difference at times (e.g. Sarah Saunders is correctly listed by the Wesley/ CAC data as being 5-for-7 against Gallaudet, while GameChanger lists her as 5-for-8. Also, the line score for the second Gallaudet game is not complete at GameChanger.)
GameChange is NOT a product of, or associated with, Wesley College or the Wesley Wolverines softball team. A premium subscription for full access is available at the site, but only for a 24 hour period. As of this writing, the subscription rate is $7.99/ monthly and $39.99/ yearly.
