Wolverines tap stolen bases
& walks to manufacture runs
A walk is as good as a single and stolen bases -- no small task in softball -- always means extra bases. The pressure a W or SB put on the opposition's defense and pitching only adds to their often unsung value. The Wesley Wolverines with both speed in the lineup and off the bench have been taking the free pass and swiping the extra bases very consistently this season.
